From the title your mind could go to imagining that this is a post about coffee grounds being good for your garden. But you couldn't be further from the truth. Oh, I've heard that coffee grounds ARE indeed good for plants in your garden and I sure know how it picks up MY mornings! However, this post has NOTHING to do with coffee, its grounds, gardens or my mornings.
It's all about feeling better …
I feel so much better about my to-do list today. It hasn't gotten any shorter, but now that I got my hair trimmed, I feel like I can conquer the world! And I almost did today … I took everything out of my office and reorganized it. If you had seen the stuff that came OUT of my office, you would agree that it resembled 'the ENTIRE world'! I just haven't been able to get it right since we moved and am hoping that the current arrangement will serve me well—at least, until I can get 'real' furniture or build it in! I moved some stuff out and other stuff in and am surrounded by things I love. That should make me more productive, huh?
Another thing that I did … and that I highly recommend … is that I sat down with all my scraps of notes, wisps of reminders, and snippets of writings, and dumped them all in one place, prioritized them, and started fresh. That's also why I had to re-do my office! My workspace should allow me the freedom to think and accomplish what I imagine can be accomplished here. I found in that 'dumping' exercise that there were things I no longer needed to have written down, things that I no longer needed to do, and I could banish them all to the trash can (tangible OR virtual!). And I found the same thing in my office … there were things that no longer needed to take up my coveted space and that could go live somewhere else. It's a beautiful thing when this happens!!
Everything should have a place and everything should be in its place! Mmmm … now I'm sounding like a mom.
