Leap Day comes around every four years if the year is exactly divisible by 4 and if it is a century year, it must be exactly divisible by 400. Or something like that. Through the years, traditions involving marriage proposals and love stories became attached to the day.
In honor of all love stories and Leap Day, I'm sharing this beautiful clip from NPR's StoryCorps. I came across it on Erin Cobb's blog today and I'll second her advice ... you might just want to have a box of tissues at hand.
