Now that Emily is into her 2nd trimester, she is feeling much better and adapting well to housing the Little One, but in the beginning, ginger ale was her close friend to help soothe the tummy woes. There aren't many options on the market for soda with few artificial ingredients so I searched out how to make it at home. It is so simple, you won't believe it.
To make ginger ale, you infuse simple syrup with ginger. To serve it, you put some syrup in a glass, squeeze some lime or lemon juice over it, and top it off with sparkling water. So good, so refreshing... and you know exactly what's in it.
You can make any flavor of soda you wish by infusing the simple syrup with any herb or fruit. How much more simple could that be?
I found David Liebowitz's recipe to be worthy of trying and found it worthy of keeping! You can read his post HERE and download the recipe from his site.
